Baybrook Mapping Dialogue
Location
Off Campus
Date & Time
October 22, 2015, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Description
Please join us for a series of “Mapping Dialogues” focused on keeping alive the memories and stories of two important communities: Baybrook and the Sparrows Point Steel Mill.
Light refreshments will be served.
The “Mapping Dialogues” project focuses on the history and culture of industrial neighborhoods in Baltimore. Using maps as starting points for discussions on the past, present, and future of industrial space, community members will share their stories and memories while contributing to a broader discussion of the social and economic issues affecting neighborhoods when industry declines.
The outcomes of these community dialogues will be presented at an event at the Baltimore Museum of Industry in spring 2016—to be announced soon.
